I made this with circles of thick cardboard as the base rather than CDs as most others do since the cardboard is lighter, easier to handle, and combined with a soft cushion layer of batting on the outer sides which also covers the edges so they are soft on the hands as well. This item is finished with cotton fabric and matching large orange buttons sewn on to stabilize everything together.
Your cards of a regular type of deck, UNO cards, or other cards of your choice can simply be slid in the center between the layers with ease and as the photos and video show I can easily hold them up between 1-2 fingers and a thumb.
